The album “the tortured poets department” by Taylor Swift showcases her incredible lyrical depth and emotional storytelling, blending introspection with vibrant imagery. The song “But Daddy I Him” is about love not needing approval. When I was taking the picture, I was enveloped in the song’s haunting melody, which perfectly complemented the moment, leading me to affectionately title the photo “But Daddy I Love Him” ever since.
Gracie Abrams’ second album, The Secrets of Us, captures a profound emotional journey that’s both intimate and relatable. I remember the moment I posted a picture on my Instagram while listening to “Free Now” from the album, a track with an absolutely stunning bridge that perfectly encapsulated a moment of freedom and reflection. In that instant, I decided to call this photo “Free Now”. It’s also worth mentioning that the picture I shared is my all time favorite.
Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album, “Short n’ Sweet,” showcases her unique blend of pop and storytelling that has captivated fans like myself since I was eight years old. Her song “Why” and the movie “Adventures in Babysitting” were pivotal in sparking my interest in photography. Every time I come across this picture, it reminds me of her songs “Sharpest Tool” and “Taste” which both are on “Short n’ Sweet”
